Lost & Found

I thought I lost her
The girly, the writer
But as a 34-year-old
She had to be a provider

Life threw some heavy curveballs
And she dodged quite a few
Some hit her mind,
It's the worst, I tell you

The ink in her pen dried up
In exchange for a wet diaper
It's been an experience
But she wishes the load was lighter
34-year-old me
Trying to reload my pen
Where do I start
How do I do it now again?

Ups and downs
Ins and outs
Doubts and fears
This feels like a drought

Cleaning, cooking,
play time and bed routines
Where do I find myself?
I can't fit in my jeans!

Look! This is a vent!
For words on a paper
The girly wants write
Sooner or later
My pens filled up
I'm so excited
It'll take a while to write
As I'm still a bit frightened.
