Goddess of Duality

I close my eyes and I can sense you,
The Inaccessible Me
Proud, brave, free.

I can almost see your face
Reach out and touch your cheek
And pull you to the forefront

But something blocks me
I need you right now.
I know you’re there.

In my dreams you step forward
And I can rest.
Janus.
Come to take my place

To show me success
To show me who I can be
For you are me

In what world do you live
Come and take me with you
To where we are loved, respected
Hugged
Confided in

Divine Self, other Self. Rescue Me.

About this poem

I wrote this poem almost as prayer. The goddess Janus is goddess of many aspects, but a couple I connect with are duality and success. Self acceptance.
