For a Tall Rancher

tall enough to hold a star in one hand
and the mountain top in the other
strong enough to keep a family together
and open it to one in need
wise enough to see far away
and seek what is near at hand
brave enough to make a difference
and keep what matters most.
Matty!

About this poem
