Broken
Watch me walk away and watch my heart break from behind.
You say our love is forever, but it's so easy to wash it away.
When comments get said and then the small things start to show
should I just lay there, or should i let you go.
My smile is fine on the outside but broken on the inside
only a mirror can show this when I dare to look inside.
My love is forever and will be for you to have
when you're not happy and everything is a problem, maybe you will smile again once I step aside.
Show me the way
Show me what you need
Show me how to be the person you loved me to be
Show me how to fix these thoughts of you just wanting to leave
Forever wondering what will make you happy
Watching you watch something else just pulls me away.
Will I ever fix what I have broken, or will you just slowly press away.
Watch my heartbreak to know this will heal yours
I do wonder how i can make you smile again
Or have I lost it, and I'm just a fool
Show me the way
Show me what you need
Show me how to be the person you loved me to be
Show me how to fix these thoughts of you just wanting to leave
When I have no one to guide me to show me or even point me in the right way
How do I know if I stay or walk away
Love for you is in my soul, my heart, my smile. I dont want to throw it away
But when you say im to blame, maybe
love is not the happiness you need
I rather let you go and not make you go insane
Show me the way
Show me what you need
Show me how to be the person you loved me to be
Show me how to fix these thoughts of you just wanting to leave
Watch me walk away and watch my heart break from behind
