A piece of my story
See my childhood is very vivid, some days I remember certain stuff and then I read that trauma causes your brain to block out certain memories. And I believe that. I remember that somewhere I was an angel child. I just can't pin it.
Also, somewhere I was truly happy. I grew up so fast, but I can still hear my child voice locked up somewhere inside. I see her somedays, but she never stays long, even tho she visits frequently I miss her, so so much. It does make me wonder tho, if she misses me too.
It saddens me knowing that I might never be her again.
About this poem
This is actually a piece of me typing my heart out, a piece of three pages I wrote to my family telling them about my mental health problems.
