Alchemy of Love

Valentin Luchenko 1959 (Syniava)

- If you can't do with love whatever you want,
do with love whatever you can.
 - What do you mean?
 - So what do you have to do now?"
 - Make tea.
 - Fine.  Pour some water into a kettle.
Fill it with love with your heart open.
 Put it on the stove,
let it be warmed by fire and love.
Put some tea on your palm.
Smile with your whole body at it.
Hide the leaves in your handful
and lean them against the solar plexus.
Warm them until the water boils.
Then pour leaves into a teapot,
filled with love, drenched in boiling water
 and sit next to it.
 Let these five minutes turn
 into timeless meditation on love.

In porcelain as thin as rice paper,
amrita is poured with a golden stream.
 It's cold outside the window,
but your house is heated by fire,
 which burns maya
but does not hurt your body.

This is called "Alchemy of Love".
