A tribute to Starry Night.

I gaze upon the starry night
And marvel at its wonder
The swirling clouds of blue and white
The lightning and the thunder

I see the village down below
And feel its peaceful charm
The cozy houses in a row
The church with its spire and farm

I see the cypress in the front
And sense its lonely mood
The dark and twisted shape that haunts
The bright and cheerful brood

I see the moon and stars above
And dream of what they mean
The mysteries of life and love
The stories yet unseen

This is the starry night for me
It fills my soul with awe
It is the painting of Van Gogh
The masterpiece I saw
