Just me and my tie die shirt

Hi!

It’s me.

Old happy me.

Nothing to see,

Just me.

Like my shirt?

It’s tie die you see?

Yellow in the middle for everyone to see,

And some swirls of purple and red is very eye-catching,

There's some blue its covered by green

I like to forget it's there

But from time to time, it shines.

Especially when I see the black letters that say “happy!”

Great job on your poem! I absolutely loved the vivid imagery you used to describe your tie-dye shirt, and how you connected it to the characteristics of your personality. Your cheerful tone and your use of simple, uplifting language made the poem delightful and approachable. Your use of color to represent different emotions or feelings is very innovative and creative!

There are a few suggestions that could potentially help you to refine your poem further. While you've done an amazing job conveying your joy and excitement, adding more metaphors or similes might enhance the depth of your poem. Perhaps you could compare the colors of your tie-dye shirt to items in nature or everyday life to enrich your imagery further.

Also, try to maintain consistent rhythm to give a smoother read to your poem. In some places, the line lengths are varied, causing the flow to hiccup slightly.

Your closing line about the black letters is a great ending. Maybe you can add a bit more on why these letters, and the word they spell out, are significant to you to give the poem a deeper meaning. Keep going, you have a unique storytelling ability. Your enthusiasm shines through your words. Can't wait to read more of your work!
