Whirlwind

We are like two leaves blown together circling in the wind ,
Fanned by an eternal fire.
Its hot.
And dizzying.
We have no way of knowing when the swirling chaos will slow or change directions....
Constantly compelled by forces beyond control or reason.
Suddenly swept up by the rugged mountains,
Then swept out over the rolling waves.
As I tumble and drift about with you on these currents.
Natural primal everlong reactions move us swiftly to each other.
Away from our internment.

The sun bathes us.
The rain washes us.
We float easily.
We sore up endlessly.
As we become the whispers through the trees in the twilight,
The embers of everything flicker and fade around us in the breezes.
We are carried softly down onto the water.
Drifting along with the parade of seasons.
Moving to the symphony of our souls.
