To lay a kiss on
Her gentle lips
And to take my breath away
And to hold her night
And day and to watch her
Smiling all day and to feel
Her heart beating softly
Inside my heart every day.

David P Carroll a decent honest kind caring loving man who delivers cakes on a Sunday morning to the elderly people I write Poetry and read them out in pubs I've written my own Poetry book I've been on TV and Radio talking about Poetry my Poetry has been used at funerals in Ireland and America and I wrote a prayer it was used at church Mass everyone talks to me shacks my hand I would give my life for the elderly people in my area and I help and pray for the sick and suffering I'm a decent honest kind man who would truly do anything for you and who loves his family with all his heart my father recently passed away so it's harder now and I've been told I've a Heart condition but poetry makes my heart smile every day and I won't let anyone or any sickness get me down thank you so much and good luck to everyone who enters God bless you all thank you all so much. more…
