SACRED TOUCH


I test my will strength around you
And I lie when I say I don't want you!

In flames, you put me in flames,
You ignite and feed the fire within!

I test your faith with a simple touch
How can one go against the undone?

I sway with the conflict of emotions
How to recover what was meant to be gone?

How to presume the knowledge of oneself?
When all you are; a response
To an impulsive wild touch!

About this poem

This poem was written of the conflict of emotions, and desires, of playing with fire, and wishing not to burn!
