Broken glass

I had no warm and tender  arms to ever  comfort  me only broken glass    no real father no real mother  9nly a father  who touched me in unmarked  areas   then payed for his sin  with a small  piece  of change  always  running to  arms to wound me on broken  glass    my mother  would not let me call her that name no she beat me to blood and bone  only broken  glass   so I would run to find that in arms that  beat me to bone and blood  only broken  glass   then one day mom if I dare  say it took me to meet  her lover  friend  he was at least 25  I was at least 13  oh  the softness  of his hands the kiss he give me soon turned to blood and bone  left me to bleed and die  some how I crawl  to what seemed a lifetime  for help   only broken  glass   run  that is all I new a child was bron  then slipped  away  to this day I do not no where I hope her life was not broken glass   but joy hope and love   now at 70 still holding  on to second  hour  I run  broken glass   no matter what  always  broken  glass  time never  flys   only stands there  in  brain stuck  a 1000 times  over and over again blood and bone   peace  seems far   maybe God   well find me heal my bones  one day  so  come see my broken  glass  one day  laugh with me  I dare not show teats  for that is weakness
