A Road So Travelled

In a realm where time is vast and endless,
Where upon a path so traveled stands witness,
A journey begins, embarked with resolve,
Upon a rugged road that few revolve.

From the dawn of humanity's first step,
Through countless ages, history's depth,
The path so traveled twists and turns,
As lessons learned, wisdom earned.

It winds through fields lush with hope,
Where dreamers dream, and lovers elope.
A meandering route, it bears no map,
For every traveler, a different mishap.

Upon this path, a thousand tales unfold,
Of heroes brave, their stories untold,
Of battles fought with courage so grand,
And unseen victories in a far-off land.

But there are those who stumble by,
Drowned in sorrow, questioning why.
They lose their way in shadows' refuge,
Where hope gets crushed, dreams subdue.

Yet on this path, through turmoil and strife,
There's a flicker of light in every life.
For even in darkness, a glimmer remains,
To ignite new fire, half-tamed by pain.

At times, the path narrows to a thin thread,
Surrounded by fear, wreathed in dread.
But it is there, where strength is born,
And resilience grows, a thorny adorn.

Countless footsteps mark the road,
From comrades gone, their stories bestowed,
For each traveler who journeys by,
Leaves a mark, a piece of their sky.

There are crossroads where choices lay,
Testing one's resolve, leading astray,
But the path so traveled whispers its truth,
Guiding the souls, renewing their youth.

For it is a path of growth and change,
Of shifting perspectives, a sacred exchange,
Where old beliefs crumble, new ones arise,
And the heart finds solace, passion replies.

Through valleys of sorrow and peaks of delight,
The path so traveled navigates day and night.
With every step, a lesson learned,
Humble victories earned, bridges burned.

To walk this path is to truly live,
To embrace the essence that life does give,
For it weaves the tapestry of our existence,
And grants purpose, meaning, and subsistence.

So let us tread along this path so traveled,
With grace and valor, our spirit unraveled,
For in its twists and turns, we shall see,
The profound beauty of our humanity.
