Bridge the Gap

Rhymed
Please do not burn your bridges since
They might help you succeed
When you decide you went too far
And friends are what you need.

Beware of how you treat those who
Might be the ones that can help you!

It's not some water 'neath a bridge
Or over some large damn,
It still can help you here and now.
Don't think that it's a sham.

As always, "look before you leap".
Impatience is sometimes not cheap!
