Heartbeat Of A Room

I can walk into a room and have it be unrecognizable,
Looking through old pictures and fabrics running through my fingers now,
What do you say when you lose the heartbeat of a room?
Where laughter and hugs poured out onto each other,

Its never the same never the same.
Though the heartbeat may not be on the room,
I find it beautiful that your heartbeats live on through me,
Your reflection will always be there it still may never be the same,

Your song will live on always
The love never parts us only time,
But in the right time I hope we are joined again,
It hasn't been the same since you went away

The heartbeat of a room is closer than I think

About this poem

The Heartbeat of a room is about lost loved ones viewing them through imagery, touch and other emotions. When you lose one person whoever it maybe you've lost one heartbeat of a room. But just because it's never the same doesn't mean the heartbeat fades away it lives on through you.
