A mother’s love

Charles Fields II 1955 (Fort Bragg, NC)

A mother's love
is home based

For every child born,
since Creation

who knows that familiar
friendly face

taught us
about peek-a-boo
and lolly-pops

A cuddle partner
for life

Providing warmth
and suckle spots

Bursting with naturally
inspired sustenance

With smooth curves
and that soft loving voice

The one who
rocked us all into being

By the Creators grace,
gave life meaning

And taught us
all there ...is to know

About planting the seed
in the right place

To be about love
