Silent
Miss Steffie Carrie Kharkongor 1993 (Shillong)
Silent
Why?
Why did I not; scream, shout or cry my heart out.
Did I not dare too?
What do you do you do, when you are tired?
Into pieces I was broken
So loud it echoes
It was not
For I alone was weeping
Silently
I felt the stab!
It was sharp!
So silent,
Yet so deafening!
Please! Make it stop!
So loud yet so quite
Does a stab, have a sound?
Why i asked?
Was it me?
Was it you?
My head was exploding
My heart? I stood up
No stain remain. My face lit up.
And I smile, Silently.
