Between the Lines

Can you see me between the lines
Or do you just see ink
In shapes of letters so designed
To take you to the brink?

There's more inside that you can find
To learn what I'm about.
The images are of the kind
That fight creative doubt.

My metaphors and similes
Are my poetic ways,
Along with others that might please
My Lord with heartfelt praise.

When faith and feelings make their ways
Into my poetry,
They just might help someone to pray,
"Be merciful to me"!

the letter it not make live always, seek / look / read of the deeper meaning. there is an ocean somewhere - fell out some as we grew up / go through life. slow down and stop today / now / just for a some minutes when you read the lines / them / any , if you want to really understand exactly. the Spirit / spirit is not ink on page, exactness, literal as you might in a hurry take but needs work / time / understanding / care / to hear of it / sound of non- thought, not of just words.
