You May Miss Those Hips

Awaiting for that right time found,
To exercise and walk around.
One should do it without time to await.
Without contemplating to hesitate.
With a moving away from a table.
Stopping a stuffing to fill their face.
Then lick the crumbs left on the plate.
Done to make a later date.
Again to procrastinate.

Pounds carried on one's heart and hips.
Will not soften the ground.
If one like this should fall down.
To hear make excuses heard to blame,
A sidewalk to claim is in need to be fixed.

Not the hips.
Oh no!
But it's the sidewalk in need to be,
Repaired and fixed.

Before someone like this prepares,
To make a public appearance anywhere.
They may take an hour or more,
Squeezing to adore...
Stretching latex to pull up over their hips.
Not by themselves.
But with another to assist.
Helping to disguise hips to miss.
Yet this is not enough to stop eating,
The wrong stuff.
Oh no!

Pushing away from potatoes and steak made?
And that delicious homemade cake.
Pulled from an oven freshly baked?
Seldom happens to one who declares,
Of watching their weight.
While licking crumbs off a plate.
Oh no!

And that smothered chicken in gravy.
To hear to be cooked for someone else.
That someone else never arrives.
Before that chicken and gravy,
Is seen by anyone to have survived.
No!
Not even a miracle can prevent,
The disappearance of it.
Yet hoped are the hips,
Will return to revive.
Without a mouth to close.
Or opening a refrigerator door.
Searching for what was leftover.
Knowing those days are gone to reminisce.

Although...
When one becomes determined,
To exercise and eat...
With a dieting daily to meet and complete.
Old and new friends,
Will then be surprised and satisfied.
Those hips once disguised.
Are no longer needing latex to hide.
Not for themselves.
But for the one they empathized,
They knew would lie about dieting.
With an unknown to see to believe,
Keeping a routine of exercise.

Even though they too would lie.
About not recognizing,
Latex stretched to disguise large hips.
And shoulders bent as if...
Everyone who diets and exercises daily,
Should consult either a chiropractioner.
Or a recommended psychiatrist.

'Baby....
You look terrific.
We haven't seen you in months.
What in the World did you do?
And...
Where are those hips?
The ones we now have come to miss!'

'OH.
Those hips.
You may miss those hips.
But someone I found,
To love me for who I am to be.
Convinced me those hips,
Were too much company.
To keep around for the both of us.'

'What?'

'Yes.
Since we both grew tired,
Removing the latex.
To make 'Woopie' pleased.
Whenever we met to meet.'

'Woopie?
Woopie who?'

'Woopie the meat grinder!'

'T-M-I.'

'What is that suppose to mean?'

'Too much inside info!'

'However...
You can say more.
To tell us,
Who it is that assist you in thinning your hips.
And we promise not to lie.
Or gossip at all about it.'

'But...
Aren't you my friends?'

'Of course we are.'

'Then what are friends for?
If we don't gossip anymore!
I would hate to miss being called the 'B' word.
And all of helping me,
Stretch those hips into a latex you said...
In one or two hours should hide and disguise,
My own told lies.'

'My ex-lover said the same thing!
And my hips to once miss?
Are back and we are united again.'
