STORM
mad hippie poet 1974 (new jersey)
I have been and always will be this unsettled storm, quiet then loud, having lightning when need I need it to fill the skies and thunder be the only sound for miles you can hear. I have the pride of a lion because I am one of them, and my heart is that of an ancient warrior, but my words are now my sword.
My buttons are like an old typewriter. They are pushing my buttons in hopes that, like a rubber band, I will finally snap, but I am like a storm who knows that if they can control my anger, they can handle me, and just like a storm, I rain on my terms.
I have seen more than I should have, but like water, I walk through every damn fire to extinguish the flame, no longer taking the blame and remembering. my name is the next storm
