Allegory of the Moon

You're there when the light goes out
Can you see me?
I know you are there even when the sky isn't clear
When I am lost, I keep you near
The dark clouds may cover you
Can you stop the rain?
I know you can't always be here
You help my find my path and which way to steer
If the night grows long will you dissappear?
That's why I love the moon
It will always be clear
