BURRIED TREASURE

mad hippie poet 1974 (new jersey)

My head is foggy sailing in these thoughts that remind me of the rough seas. I am no captain, but I am staring at the ship of my reality, trying to save myself like a fish out of water from drowning. The stars in the night's skies guide me as the moonlight smiles down on me as if she is talking directly, saying I will direct you on the right course. Not everything is pirates curse. You will find the x that marks the spot, for not all treasure is always gold, so listen to what the sun speaks of during the day and now what you have been told.
