someone missing a lot

prakriti subedi 1993 (Nepal)

In the empty spaces, hearts do ache,
For those we miss, our souls partake.
A tender longing, a silent plea,
Their absence felt so profoundly.

Each passing day, a bittersweet sigh,
Memories dance, yet tears we dry.
Their laughter echoes in the air,
A love so deep, beyond compare.

In cherished moments, we rewind,
The joy they brought, so intertwined.
Their presence etched upon our soul,
In every thought, they make us whole.

Though time may pass, the pain remains,
Their touch, their voice, like soft refrains.
But in our hearts, they'll never fade,
Their essence lingers, undelayed.

So let us hold them close each day,
In dreams and thoughts, they're here to stay.
For those we miss, forever dear,
In love's embrace, they're always near.
