I should have visited you more in my memories.
But you were safe and would never be forgotten.
I should have visited you more in my dreams.
But I always thought that was where you would always be.
I should have kept you in my mind.
There you would have prepared and forced change.
I should have kept you in my spirit.
There you would have given me fight and hope.
I should have kept my love for you certain.
There not even you could tell me I was just young.
But one day there you were.
And memories came to life.
And one turned into many and all the things I should have done started moving all at once.
And you became my greatest addiction.
I should have seen the goals to have you refilled.
But when I did it was already to late.
I had no more of you.
And you told me you were going back in my memory.
I should have been more in the present.
And then you would not be back in my past.
And I could have given you a great future.
