Into a pit.

Jason Chad Wilkins 1976 (Abilene TX)

My life is sinking
into a pit
going down
and that's just it
going nowhere
though it does seem
until I get into my dreams
dreams of good
and dreams of bad
dreams like this
you've never had
dreams of horror
and dreams of love
dreams of God
from up above
the devil's there
oh I can see
he's standing back
he's watching me
he's waiting till
The time is right
he's waiting for
his time to strike
when he does
I will not know
but God Will save me
and my soul.
