2023 for me
Was a year I thought I would be free,
Free from the stress and pressures of this new world.
A world made to break young people,
Gen z a generation in decline
Work every day of our young lives
Work with no social interaction
For what?
For who?
The government
Take it all
We have time for social interactions?
My bank account?
Decline
My mental health?
Decline
My physical health?
Decline
Twenty-twenty-three?
Decline

About this poem

This poems about not only my struggles in 2023 as a gen Z but what I believe a love of gen z are going through. Not just Gen X either, everybody. It needs to be heard and spoken about more
