A Strong Woman

Is this a man’s merit when his woman is strong?
It’s his constant shame and disgrace
I’m pretty damn certain that we’ll never be wrong
For throwing this truth to his face!

A strong woman is just a girlie down-to-earth
But the mask is hiding her eyes
She should be laughing joyously at times of mirth
And crying when it’s fine to cry

A strong woman is her lifelong walking on ropes
Wear a smile with heels and a gown
At home, she changes them to warm and cozy robes
In tea her tiredness she drowns

A strong woman is three meaningless and vain words
She's weak under his caring wing
It's her man who saves her from all pains and hurts
And saves from thinking of a thing!

About this poem

I wrote this poem to say that a man needs to be strong and support his woman for there not to be such a thing as "A strong woman"
