                         A River In Egypt

I keep a small white room in my heart.
It’s for an angel that I adore.
There’s a mattress made of moons and stars for her there,
floating just above the floor.
And there’s a candle burning always
behind a window of yellow stand glass,
so that my angel can find me again,
the next time she’s short on cash.
