A Gossamer Dew
Shaynne Angoluan 2000 (Manila)
Within dawn's caress, an ethereal hush,
The sun's golden touch, a luminescent rush,
The morning dew unfurls a tableau divine,
Revealing truth's essence, life's sacred sign.
Each tiny sphere, with gentle care bestowed,
Kisses verdant affair, love's delicate ode.
A shimmering array, resplendent and bright,
Reflects our fleeting flight, existence's plight.
Gently, it caresses each blade, it seems,
A testament, unyielding to transient schemes.
A microcosm teems, a vibrant symphony,
Were minuscule creatures dance in harmony.
But as the celestial orb ascends with mighty reign,
Dewdrops yield, vanishing, a transient stain.
Like tears ephemeral, they fade and succumb,
Merging with morning's embrace, memories hum.
Thus, life's radiant gleam retreats in haste,
Moment's bittersweet, fragile dreams interlaced.
Ensnared, then freed, like whispers on the breeze,
A tribute to beauty's fleeting, transient tease.
In nature's embrace, its serenity thrives,
Through countless seasons, where life ever strives.
The dawn's tender murmur, a timeless voice,
Invites us to partake, and to rejoice.
From twilight's realm to a new resplendent glow,
The world unfolds, its mysteries to show.
And in each of its kiss, a universe,
A fleeting glimpse of magic, love's converse.
So let our hearts be open, spirits wide,
To grasp the wonders nature does provide.
In every dewy morn, a gift bestowed,
A reminder of life's grace forever flowed.
So, seize each day with fervent zest,
In dew's reflection, blessings are manifest.
Embrace the rare, the fugitive and true,
Within those fleeting droplets, secrets accrue.
