...With Tears
…With Tears
Illuminate your soul
Pour your heart,
Stitch every piece with care
Which was slit apart
Every seam has a staggering story to share
Each hem is so priceless and rare
Let the tales unfold, like a legendary lore
Narrate it, Celebrate it like never before
Let the past have its slice of glory
The raring battles you fought, are worthy of a lilting commentary
Let the agony dribble and disappear.
Collect yourself from the shattered scatter
Esteem and Worth surely do matter
Stare into the eyes of those who stepped forward to rip you,
Who did not lose a chance to choke and quip you,
Stand tall with aplomb,
With great flair and pomp
Display the scars like badges of honor,
Flash a vibrant smile like the symbol of Valor.
Let every inch of the indignity you bore submerge
May pride sprout, and prominently emerge…
Bow down, to the co-sailors who cruised along,
through rough waters embracing your rights and wrong
Acknowledge who sang in chorus, like a symphony to your sound of music
Every Note they crooned healed you and each tune they hummed was therapeutic.
They empathized, they empowered,
With full of affinity they showered
Benevolence and humanity
commemorate them with integrity
Let Gratitude sprinkle…
Do treasure not, the pearl of love just in your svelte palms,
Break the shell, harbor no qualms.
It doesn’t flourish in Isolation, It deserves a cluster
Apprise it loud adding your touch and luster
May love sparkle despite the legion of stars
It has the efficacy to unite Earth Venus and Mars
Bury the hatchet, If there is any
Reconcile and reconnect seize the envy
Make way for solidarity let wrath fade into thin air
Resurrect the harmony and cremate despair
We are entwined so wonderfully
The world is a home we are family
May love flow…
About this poem
This Poetry emphasizes the multitude of emotions that feel pronounced through tears, be it pain, pride, gratitude, or any such feeling when intensified has a medium to express itself. It could be through words, a tear, two, or both. The emotion is well conveyed when worded the way it has been. It sums up the way I usually emote. It is a beautiful amalgamation of everything I want to say about the bag of emotions I have about certain very significant things about my life in specific and outside of it. more »
