Breeze

There is a small breeze,
Yes, what a breeze!
In sweltering hot
The Lord blesses me.

The small breeze is cool,
inviting, and clean,
it makes me feel good,
in spite of the heat.

Yes, what a breeze
the Lord sent to me,
as I sat in the cool,
of the cold summer breeze.

What a breeze,
What a Breeze!,
from the cold summer breeze…

About this poem

This is a free verse poem, imagery in style, it has four stanzas, the last stanza comprised of three verses. The attempt of the poet is to describe a very hot summer accompanied by God's graces through a cool wonderful breeze, in spite of sweltering hot, humid weather. How that happened, that is, the breeze, is far beyond the Poet's imagination!
