Honeysuckle, lilacs, dandelions
Flowers of childhood

Roses, daisies, tulips
Flowers of young adulthood

Orchids, snapdragons, lavender
Flowers of maturing

Diffenbacher, snake plant, cactus
Flowers of the senior years

I see the flowers
I smell their fragrance
I relieve the memories
Of the decades of my life

About this poem

Was in my yard and the smell of the flowers brought back memories of times gone by. this poem was the result of those memories

Profits from all of her books are donated to charity. the children's books are about a cat named Stubby and profits from these books are given to animal charities as are the profits from The Dogs of My Life. Profits from the sale of the parenting book Wisdom of Our Parents is given to St. Judes children's hospital.
