A pot of growth

Jamie Tierney 1991 (Cardiff)

When I carefully pour water into the soil,

gushing freely day and night, shooting into green.

Leaves emitting shades that flicker darker still,

weighting of water flooding to the brim.

Bulging roots convulse, internodes begin to shrink,

autocratic light piercing throughout, from the everlasting sun.

Overbearing conditions altering into death and decay,

formless elemental energies suffocate to spread deep.

The nothingness state that remains amongst the barren,

self-cultivation from gloom foundations for inner balance activation.

Enshrined body of rejuvenating life created from within,

enhancing manifestation. Impossible into possible.

About this poem

Over watering may cause ending but the magic inside may still bloom.
