Always Me

I hate that I'm sitting here
Thinking of you
Of those eyes that mouth
Those hands so soft and strong
That enveloped me once
And made me feel safe and loved
Desired, wanted, needed
Then left me cold, lonely and sad
Why trust? Why give all?
If at the end your on the outside
Always looking in.
Into your soul and see it cold and hard
Hard as stone
The only way you know how
How to live and love
When all I can do is give all
All of my love, my heart my soul
No other way that I know how
Know how to live, love, and be
Just being me, always me
Authentic, real me, Always me
