Coming out accepting to be

Matthew watkins 1993 (Santa Monica)

Coming out was nerve wrecking
Thought my life would be crashing
I was accepted more than resizing

I am a man of my word
I want others like me to be heard
Everyone deserves to be understood

Living in a world still full of hate
There’s reason why we were create
Being open about my identity releases my weight

I’m accepting no matter what
We are all different so no reasons to shut
I am reasonable and go with my gut

Love and tolerance is the answer
Being open minded is not a stressor
I am tolerant, accepting and it’s a pleasure
