Souls of Africa

Blake Thom 2003 (Lusaka)

In the land where lions roar,
Beneath a sky of vibrant blue,
A tapestry of colors, rich and pure,
African beauty comes into view.

From Sahara's dunes to Victoria's falls,
Nature's wonders never cease,
The rhythmic beat of tribal calls,
Harmony and rythm find their peace,

A kaleidoscope of cultures thrive,
From every corner of this land,
Unity in diversity,we strive ,
Bound by history's golden strand.

The baobab's wisdom whispers tales of ancient roots and strength untold,
While Serengeti's vastness never pales, with tales of wild life, bold and bold.

From Nefertiti's graceful gaze ,to Mandela's unwavering voice,
Africa's heroes through the haze, inspire us to make a choice.

To honor the past, embrace the now,
Unite in purpose, hand in hand, for Africa's spirit will always allow ,a future built on loves command.

So let us dance to the African beat,
Celebrate the rhythm in our veins ,
With hope resilience and hearts replete,
Africa's legacy forever remains.
