A Father’s View

Being A Father is not bad,
Even if you’re only a Dad,
The trials and tribulations are many,
The sacrifices you must make are plenty,
You are on the clock every day,
No hourly wage will you get paid,
Your needs and wants are put at bay,
For those of others, you must pave the way,
At times you will feel like you are taken for granted,
But you will discover your love can move a planted,
The Job of the Father challenges your faith to the max,
If you believe in Our Father just sit back and relax,
Everything will work out under his master plan,
For you are a Loving Father in high demand,
Dads fall short when they become overwhelmed,
A Real Father steps up and takes the helm!

About this poem

As a Dad & Father, I feel we don't get the recognition we deserve too often the homes are without that key figure and those are the ones who suffer for that loss while those that do are more well balanced.
