Brothers
Used to be filled
To the brim with innocence
Now I feel like I was spilled
All I am left with is nonsense
You stole it from me
I said no
You wouldn’t let it be
You wouldn’t just go
Two against one
Not a fair fight
Under the sun
Tried with all my might
Tried to forget
Tried to forgive
All I did was sweat
Now I just relive
Every time I close my eyes
I go back to the dugout
And I want to die
It seems I’ve struck out
First one, then the other
Never told anyone
That you were brothers
That you already won
I was only fourteen
When you stole from me
Afraid of being seen
What you made me be'
About this poem
