Je me souviens
Aldo Gabbay 1964 (sap paulo)
Je me souviens
That my friends had supported
Me for many years in my life
Je me souviens
That I never had insulted my friends
Because that would hurt my friends
And I don't mean to hurt my friends
I just can't forget you
My friends
Je me souviens
You all had been my friends for
36 years
Je me souviens
That you were always there
When I was sick
In crisis
Also I was never left alone
Or in isolation
To tell you the truth
I hate to be left alone
Or in isolation
I feel that I don't deserve to be
Left alone or in isolation
Also I must say thanks to
My friends for being there
When I was sick
My friends had spent
All day with me
During the summer night
I had sat on the chair
On my balcony
And I had glazed in the sky
The stars and the moon
At 9 pm I took my medications
That I hate to take
But I need to take my medications
So my depression stay leveled
Then I went into my bedroom
I had changed into my pajama
Then I went straight to bed
Now I had finally layed in my bed
I had shut my mind of
Then I had shut my eyes
And then I drifted away
The only thing I heard is me snoring
Because I have sleep apnea
I never woke up in the middle of the night
I had my 8 hours of sleep
The next day I got up at 7 pm
I was getting ready to start the day
First I shaved myself the old fashion away
Then I removed my pajama from my body
Then I went in the shower
When the shower was over
I got out of the shower then
I had dried myself with a towel
And now I will get dressed into
My casual clothes
Now I am having a quick breakfast
By 8 am my friend had arrived to see me
My friend took me for a walk into
The park
There we heard the birds singing there symphony
We were getting some fresh air
That we needed badly
At 2 pm we left the park
And went home
We had washed the breakfast dishes quickly
Then we prepared a quick lunch
And when the lunch was over
We again had washed the dishes
And dried them
And put it away
We had sit in the balcony
And we also had heard the birds singing
My friend had left at 5 pm
I had cooked my dinner
When it was over I placed it on a plate
And I started to eat my dinner
Today I had all my medication early
Because I was feeling very tired
I went right away to bed
The next day I woke up early
It was 5 am when I got up
I started to shave my face the old fashion way
Then I went in the shower
When the shower was over
I had dried my body with the towel
Now I will get dressed into my casual clothes
Then at 6 am I had eggs and bacon and toast
For breakfast
I also had two cups of coffee with my breakfast
Then I had washed my dishes
I also had dried my dishes
And put it away
My friend arrived at 7 pm
Today we finally went for a drive into the
Country
I like to have a drive into the country
We had gone to Union Ville
There they had a free jazz festival
They play all the old jazz music
That brought memories to me
The jazz festival ended at 2 pm
We had gone for lunch into a cafe
At 3 pm we left Union ville
And we returned to Toronto
At 5 pm
I had skipped my dinner
Because I was full still from lunch
I went into my bedroom
I had changed into my pajamas
Then I lay down into my bed
I had taken my medication
