Her eyes

In the shadows I tread, a hunter of souls,
A longing for blood, a void that never consoles.
My heart, ablaze, fueled by fires of vice,
A creature of instinct, with a deadly device.

Her eyes, a magnet, pulling me near,
Their enchanting allure whispers, crystal clear.
Yet fear floods her gaze, as I draw too near,
A tantalizing fragrance, igniting my sear.

I am the terror, in night's deepest abyss,
The monstrous being that breeds a dark hiss,
Not by fur or fangs, but by an iron will,
With a heart pitch-black, a void that can't fill.

With precision I strike, my aim never fails,
Her life now extinguished, her body unveils,
Her soul, a grim offering to my desires unkind,
Her death, a symphony, my demonic bind.

For hunger consumes me, the thirst for the kill,
A predator relentless, my purpose to fulfill,
A beast that takes pleasure in each fatal breath,
Leaving a trail of carnage, a dance with death.

As I wander through night's ethereal shroud,
I hunt, I claim, undeterred, unbowed,
In her eyes I glimpse my twisted delight,
In her demise, my wicked craving takes flight.
