Branch and Cornerstone
Richard Newton Sherrer 1951 (Easton)
If you walk in His ways,
Then you shall rule His house;
Of His courts of all days,
In charge of to espouse.
The right gives to access,
Those who are standing here;
Rewarding as to bless,
Unto God to revere.
Those who sit before you,
They are men as a sign;
Each servant that is true,
A branch of the Divine.
A single stone you see,
That does have seven eyes;
Removes iniquity,
That has been causing lies.
On that day each of you,
Will invite his neighbor;
So that they will construe,
The stone of His labor.
So come under His vine,
And under the fig tree;
Solace by the Divine,
Who gives insight to see.
