My dad "the weatherman"

Pain causes tears, tears cause rain
Will the sun ever shine again.
I'll never stop talking about my dad,
Coz there  happy memories
that make me glad!

In the garden the sun would shine
My brother and sister and me in a line.
Wishing this feeling would last forever,
The sun shining down,
This glorious weather!

Then the sky looks gloomy
It's not too clear!
I wish the clouds would disappear.
Then the rain starts to fall,
Our dad is missed by us all.

Then the memories come flooding back,
we loved our Dad and thats a fact!
The walks we done years ago,
Over fields and hills
 In sun and snow!

The moon, the sun, the stars, the sky
As I look up into the sky.
Why oh why did my dad die,
Coz this is the weather
As time goes by!

About this poem

After losing my dad in 2010, I started writing poetry and this was the 1st poem I wrote and its about my dad who loved walking through the countryside in all weathers. I used the weather to express my emotions.
