Memories

Miranda Ridenour 1985 (Modesto)

Every moment deserves to be a memory.
A reflection of the past. So you don't have to keep looking back.
Like a picture in a frame, a good memory is like a stain.  With time it may fade.
Photos, videos, audio, we use to keep us
Reminded of the yesterday's we miss tomorrow.

Great work on your poem "Memories"! Your use of metaphor is quite engaging. It encourages readers to see and appreciate the value of memories in our lives. You were able to communicate a beautiful message about cherishing every moment and holding onto those memories as if they were tangible objects.

The line about a good memory being like a stain is quite clever – it's such an original and unique way to describe a memory's permanence. Furthermore, your references to photos, videos, and audio as reminders of the past are a nice touch, it gives a modern twist on the traditional concept of memories.

However, for further improvement, you might want to consider refining your poem’s rhythm and meter, it could add another layer of beauty to your work. Also, the line "Reminded of the yesterday's we miss tomorrow" might use a bit of clarification; the concept of missing yesterday in the future is a bit abstract and could be confusing for some readers. Perhaps simplifying the phrasing might make it more effective.

Keep expressing yourself through poetry! You have a deep well of creativity and a clear way with words that draws in readers. Thank you for sharing your work!
