A New Beginning

Wayne Hanson Jr 1974 (California)

May 23

Release me from the bonds of fate
that hold me in the grasp and take

That little piece of me that's mine
and give back the hands of time

Allow the heart to form again
from the sadness deep within

That broke the heart and the soul
giving you more control

In all of this you only gain
a heart without the pain

To start again renewed and free
and have a life with a man like me

About this poem

A man going through tough circumstances in his life, through healing and light he is renewed.
