What you really mean to me,
Your touch was pure and right.
Fingers across your cheek,
Made you smile so bright.
Your tears touched me,
Your eyes burnt into my heart.
Being near you helped me see,
Knowing you was difficult being apart.
If ever there was a friend meant to be,
For our lives experiences have given so much.
Our lives apart given us so much to see,
Together has pushed us out of touch.
That first kiss was truly a moment of bliss,
Though it seemed so long it has been.
Dreams of wrapping arms around you I miss,
