Dancing On Star Tops

Gazing down
and they gaze up.
From lifetime
Of pointed light.
Night-time dialled up
Loud: strong.
Listen… hum and hum
Their shining song.

Step one, step two
I sweep and leap
In hidden clouds.
In black unknown.
Still bright: light
Are stars in my night.

Still they glow,
Quick quick
and slow.

Still, still:
Ssshhh…
I hear their tap.

On tops
I dance.. and dance.
