The Cure For Our Love

The Cure For Our Love
By Nancy Rodriquez

If you and I could put the past in the past,
and find the purity in what we once shared,
We would have a future that would last,
and we would be strong enough not to go there,
I believe this could be the cure for our love,
and there would not be any more broken trust,
The same wonderful magic which brings two together,
never changes its original form,
and distance can be erased in time forever,
if two hearts have forgiveness to crush every storm,
The good Lord above would bless such a union,
and we could get our smile back again,
to have a grand solution,
It would take effort from us to get past the pain,
for it takes two in any relationship,
in standing tall, or forever fall,
We would sink or swim,
and for us to make the call,
and take up where we left off,
loving one another as it should be,
