Rain

Raindrops fall like teardrops from the sky,
A soothing sound as they patter by,
Cleansing the air, refreshing the earth,
Giving new life, a sense of rebirth.
The rain, it sings a lullaby,
A peaceful tune as the day goes by,
It washes away the dirt and grime,
A natural rhythm, a perfect rhyme.
The clouds above, they weep and cry,
But their tears bring beauty to the eye,
Rainbows form, a colorful display,
A promise of hope for another day.
The rain, it paints a picture of the truth,
A work of art, a masterpiece anew,
It drops, they sparkle like bright diamonds,
A stunning sight in the dim of night.
As the rain comes and goes its way,
It leaves behind a new display,
A world renewed, fresh and clean,
A sight to behold, a magical dream.
