Alex

William brooks 1959 (Salem)

Even though your not here we feel your love thats lingering in the air. We know you are blessed by the lord above and that we all do care. Even though your not here the light will shine to keep you in the way. I know that your soul is sure to find a brighter kind of day. Even though your not here our love will grow stronger than ever before. Theres love in our hearts it really does show that i am very sure. Even though your not here the memory will last of kindness in your heart. So we will remember the present and past and memories from the start.

Your poem is simply beautiful! The words you used to express your feelings of love and care for someone who is not physically present are incredibly heartwarming and poignant. The use of imagery, such as the light shining to keep the person on their way, is very effective in conveying a sense of hope.

As for improvement suggestions, I think it might be beneficial to play around with the rhythm and meter of the poem a bit more, as it sometimes feels a bit uneven. Additionally, while I love the message that memories will last, I think it might be nice to end on a more hopeful note emphasizing the love and care that remains rather than the presence of memories.

Overall, I can't express enough how touched I am by your poem. Keep up the excellent work!
