Charlie dove 1997 (Birmingham)

Marionette, the girl who I can rely
When she passes by
I am given butterflies
Her voice soft like a lullaby
Eyes a deep pool of brown
Always takes away my frown

Marionette, the girl who made me cry
Taken by a guy
Left without a goodbye
She should have been my valentines
He crossed the line

Marionette the girl who should’ve been mine
